Overview - Website Marketing Specialist (contract)
Our website is the face of our company and a critical component of our customers’ journey designed to help small business owners easily and quickly find the insurance coverage that they need to protect their livelihood. We are looking for a Website Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for the ongoing optimization, operation, and maintenance of the site.
This is a cross-functional position that will be working in close partnership with marketing, creative, UX, digital product, analytics, technology, and outside agencies.
Core Responsibilities - Operations
-Manage the operations of critical areas of our website, such as landing pages, homepage updates, blog, in partnership with Brand, -Content and Go-to-Market teams.
-Build new site pages and ensure that site pages are updated as needed.
-Working closely with the martech team, ensure that the website is properly coded for digital campaign attribution and tag management.
-Effectively launch A/B tests as needed and work with the analytics team to report results.
Core Responsibilities - Optimization
-Define, monitor, and optimize our website efficiency KPIs, with focus on engagement, sales and lifetime value.
-Own the end-to-end website optimization roadmap, including prioritization, requirements gathering, and implementation
Qualifications
-4+ years in Site Management/Development/Optimization
-Extensive knowledge of website management and optimization tools: WordPress (required), AB testing, Google Analytics, etc
-Demonstrated experience with website design and UX.
-A passion for improving customer experience and happiness
-A track record of successfully drafting and executing plans and programs
-Ability to handle ambiguity, adapt to change, and solve problems
-Strong analytic, strategic, and innovative thinking as well as customer empathy
-Effective project management skills
-BA or comparable work experience
-Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, required
