What you will do
Digital Wave Finance is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate System Administrator with a degree in IT (or similar). We are a young firm in the heart of Switzerland. We build next-generation trading strategies and systems based on sound mathematical models.
Location: Zug, Switzerland | Relocation support provided
Main Responsibilities
- Manage Ubuntu Linux systems in data center and cloud VPCs
- Install, provision and configure Linux servers
- Troubleshoot hardware, system and application issues
- Implement systems/network/performance monitoring
- Improve on infrastructure and security
Requirements
- Strong grasp on Linux OS
- Automation and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform
- Understanding of Ethernet/IP networking and related protocols
- Experience with NFS/Ceph storage
- Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes containerization
- Basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value DBs
- Scripting in Bash, Python
- Basic comprehension of C/C++
- CI/CD: Gitlab, Jenkins
