Position Overview:
As a Student Success Advisor, you will be a vital supporter and advocate for our students throughout their academic endeavors. This role involves cultivating meaningful relationships, providing tailored guidance, and facilitating resources that ensure a rewarding and successful educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build supportive relationships with students, fostering a welcoming and encouraging environment.
• Provide personalized academic and career advice, helping students set and achieve their goals.
• Monitor student attendance and performance, proactively addressing any challenges to maintain success.
• Help students navigate campus resources and support services effectively.
• Collaborate with faculty to identify students in need of additional support and implement success strategies.
• Conduct orientation sessions and workshops that inform students about available resources and opportunities.
• Maintain organized records of student interactions, monitoring progress and outcomes.
• Coordinate student engagement activities to foster a vibrant and connected campus community.

Requirements

• Experience in student advising, counseling, or a related support role, ideally within higher education or the beauty sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective student engagement.
• Understanding of the academic challenges students face and the ability to provide guidance.
• Collaborative instinct and the ability to work effectively with faculty and staff.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting student success and a commitment to the beauty industry.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
