Description

Crest Acura and Cadillac are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician / Collision Repair Technician to join our growing collision repair team in Syracuse, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled body tech who takes pride in quality repairs and wants to work in a professional dealership environment with consistent workflow.

What You'll Do

As an Auto Body Technician, you will perform a wide range of collision repairs and body work including:

• Perform collision repair and auto body repairs on damaged vehicles
• Repair or replace body panels, bumpers, fenders, doors, and structural components
• Perform frame straightening and unibody repairs using frame machines and measuring equipment
• Conduct panel alignment, metal finishing, and body filler work
• Prepare vehicles for painting including sanding, grinding, masking, and priming
• Follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
• Work closely with estimators, painters, and service advisors to ensure efficient repairs
• Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

Requirements

We’re looking for technicians with strong collision repair experience.

• 2+ year’s experience as an Auto Body Technician, Body Tech, or Collision Repair Technician
• Experience with frame machines, welding equipment, and body repair tools
• Knowledge of modern vehicle construction including aluminum and high-strength steel preferred
• Ability to read and follow repair estimates and OEM repair procedures
• I-CAR training or certifications are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs
• Valid driver's license
