Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
• Encourage social interaction and participation in community-based activities.
• Implement individualized support plans to promote personal development and self-sufficiency.
• Document and track individual progress, providing feedback to the support team.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care.
• Work collaboratively with families and other team members to coordinate care and support.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in human services or a related field is a plus.
• Experience in direct care roles or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred, or must be obtained shortly after hiring.
