We design furniture that supports calm, safety, and wellbeing—combining functionality, sustainability, and great design.

About the role

The Customer & Logistics Associate plays a key role in supporting daily operations across customer service, warehouse, inventory, and logistics functions. This is an entry level position designed for a hands-on individual who is comfortable splitting time between administrative coordination and physical warehouse responsibilities.

This role handles incoming customer inquiries related to order status and delivery, supports US inventory and sample furniture management, assists with production preparation, and contributes to logistics coordination, including truck bookings and container routing. You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor and Head of Operations to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and a high standard of customer experience.

You are proactive, organized, and dependable. You thrive in a team setting and are willing to take ownership of tasks, whether at a desk or on the warehouse floor.

What you'll be doing

  • Respond to incoming inquiries via phone and email regarding order status, delivery information, freight tracking, damages, and after-sales support.
  • Book and monitor domestic freight (LTL, FTL) and assist with international shipment routing.
  • Support reporting functions including inventory tracking, shipment updates, and operational status reports.
  • Coordinate with Operations Supervisor on the sample furniture process, ensuring availability, tracking, shipping/returns, and condition management.
  • Assist in managing US inventory and sample stock, maintaining accurate counts and organized warehouse systems.
  • Support production preparation, order picking, packing, labelling, and staging of outbound shipments.
  • Perform goods-in/goods-out duties, including receiving, inspection, and documentation of inbound shipments.
  • Load and unload trucks and sea freight containers using forklift, pallet jack, or manual handling as required.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Assist in maintaining vendor and carrier relationships through clear communication and follow-up.
  • Perform additional ad hoc operational tasks as required to support business needs.

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Entry-level experience in a warehouse, logistics, or operational environment preferred. This role is approximately a 50/50 split between warehouse and administrative duties.
  • Forklift experience and OSHA familiarity are advantageous but not required (training can be provided).
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer-focused with clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Being able to comfortably lift and move 50 lbs in a warehouse setting and be able to team lift heavier weights.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accountability, punctuality, and reliability.
  • Commercial awareness and willingness to learn logistics and supply chain fundamentals.
  • Flexible and willing to support broader operational needs when required.
  • You embody our company's people values:
  • Teamwork - Collaborate effectively with humility, appreciating and integrating individual skills and perspectives to achieve collective goals.
  • Committed - Dedicate yourself fully to your role, going above and beyond with self-motivation and loyalty to achieve individual, team, and company goals.
  • Ownership - Take full responsibility for your work, performance, and conduct, acting with integrity, staying organised, and learning from feedback and mistakes.
  • Positive - Approach tasks with optimism and innovation, viewing challenges as opportunities, and bringing energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate others.
  • Responsive - React quickly and effectively to needs and feedback, prioritising tasks with urgency, embracing change, and maintaining a proactive approach.
