Description
This position oversees the daily operations of the consumer and commercial loan departments and provides leadership to the loan operations team. Responsibilities include managing loan processing, servicing, accounting, reporting, and customer service functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The role develops and maintains effective systems, processes, and procedures to support timely and compliant loan operations.
In addition, this position leads, trains, and supports operations staff while ensuring the department meets organizational goals. The role works closely with department managers and bank officers to promote efficient workflows and foster positive working relationships throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all loan operations, including boarding, servicing, payments, payoffs, draws, balancing, disbursements, non-accruals, charge-offs, and reporting.
- Maintain proficiency in loan systems (Jack Henry, OnBoard, LoanVantage) and optimize system processes for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Develop and manage workflows, ensuring proper controls and segregation of duties.
- Lead, hire, train, and supervise loan operations staff; manage performance and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal banking regulations and implement procedural updates as needed.
- Serve as liaison for audits and compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve workflow, accuracy, and efficiency.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- 7+ years of banking experience with strong lending knowledge.
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
