What you’ll do
You’ll serve as the lead planner and integrator for executive-level events and communications deliverables, coordinating across government teams, mission partners, and external stakeholders.
Event strategy & execution
- Plan and execute high-visibility events such as executive sessions, leadership offsites, workshops, and professional development engagements (e.g., PDI-style events).
- Own the full event lifecycle: concept development, stakeholder alignment, agenda build, speaker management, run-of-show, rehearsals, onsite execution, and after-action reporting.
- Manage venues, room blocks, audio/visual, security considerations, visitor access, base entry coordination, and all logistics required for smooth delivery.

- Support executive engagements with briefing materials, talk tracks, and stakeholder-ready content.
Communications & outreach products
- Develop and produce outreach materials tied to event priorities and enterprise communications goals (print/digital).
- Oversee digital content and communications products, which may include newsletters, podcasts, social media content, and SharePoint sites.
- Maintain a consistent voice and standard across products while ensuring alignment with Air Force guidance and approval workflows.
Governance, compliance, and financial awareness
- Apply a thorough understanding of 10 USC § 9022 Financial Management principles to support compliant planning, documentation, and decision support.
- Track schedules, deliverables, approvals, and risk mitigation plans to keep high-visibility efforts on time and leader-ready.
What success looks like
- Events run smoothly, start on time, and deliver the intended outcomes with minimal friction for leaders and attendees.
- Stakeholders feel informed and aligned because messaging and outreach products are clear, consistent, and timely.
- Leadership trusts you as the person who can take an objective and turn it into a well-executed engagement.
