Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Support the implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Encourage social interactions and facilitate participation in community outings.
• Document daily activities and progress, ensuring clear communication with the care team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals you support.
• Build trusting relationships with clients and their families through active support and advocacy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in human services is a plus.
• Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse populations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach towards individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain shortly after hiring.
