Role: Mechanical Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Europe

Duration: We are open to full-time permanent and contract positions.
Salary and rates: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Relevant Degree
  • 5 years’+ experience working as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor
  • Previous relevant experience working in Ireland or the UK an advantage
  • Good communication skills and proven record in taking Tenders from Pricing through to final client award
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • File Maker Pro
  • PrimaVera
  • Time Management
  • Proficient with Piping Measures and Isometrics / P&ID’s

Responsibilities

  • Involvement in all phases of the project, including tender documentation, cost management, contractor performance assessment, and procurement.
  • Administer Sub-Contract orders from award to final account
  • Reviewing and commercial management of all projects, to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
  • Identify, Analyse and report on trends within the Business & Projects
  • Attend and provide input to relevant customer/client commercial meeting
  • Ensure compliance with Contract Programme /Schedule and provide weekly reports to construction team on planned versus actual progress
  • Review all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team, and /or subcontractor to identify Contractually critical items and to initiate replies.
  • Create a procurement schedule for the project
  • Conduct periodic review of works to identify appropriate cost saving measures
