Eleven Eleven is a fast-growing women’s apparel and lifestyle brand based in Nashville, Tennessee. We’re looking for an experienced, in-person Product Development Manager to lead new product creation while also owning the analytical side of what we make, how much we buy, and how we evolve the line based on real demand.
This role combines creative product development and data-driven decision making. You will be responsible for bringing new products to life, managing relationships with our overseas vendors, and continuously refining the assortment based on what’s selling, what’s missing, and where the brand should go next.
About the Role
You will own the product lifecycle from concept through production, while also monitoring performance, forecasting demand, and adjusting future buys accordingly. This role requires both creative intuition and operational discipline.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience and Leadership to ensure our product line is aligned with our brand and goals.
Must be based in Nashville, TN or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
Product Development & Design
- Lead the development of new apparel styles from concept through production
- Create and update garment CADs; make detailed adjustments to fit, construction, and design
- Analyze top-performing products and identify gaps or opportunities in the assortment
- Bring new, original product ideas to the table that align with the Eleven Eleven brand
- Work directly with overseas vendors on development, sampling, revisions, and timelines
- Address quality issues with factories by documenting problems clearly and driving solutions
- Collaborate with Production to improve fit, materials, construction, and consistency
Demand Planning, Forecasting & Inventory Strategy
- Own product-level forecasting across drops, collections, and core styles
- Continuously adjust forecasts based on sell-through, inventory levels, and demand trends
- Plan buys to balance revenue targets, margin goals, and inventory efficiency
- Establish and manage drop calendars, launch timing, and delivery schedules
- Review performance against forecasts and identify risks, opportunities, and adjustments
- Make recommendations on reorders, pullbacks, or exits based on performance
Inventory & Performance Analysis
- Monitor inventory health, identifying overstock, aging, and underperforming SKUs
- Partner with marketing team on promotional strategy
- Provide clear guidance on what products to push, pause, or phase out
- Analyze performance by SKU, category, drop, and channel to inform future development
- Support special initiatives, limited drops, or unique inventory programs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key partner to Marketing, Production, Operations, and Finance
- Communicate product timelines, risks, and updates clearly across teams
- Provide leadership with data-backed insights tied to product and inventory decisions
- Maintain internal product and development calendars for cross-team visibility
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion or apparel
- Direct experience working with overseas vendors and factories
- Strong garment design and CAD skills; must be able to create and revise product CADs
- Experience adjusting fits, specs, and construction details
- Fashion related bachelors degree or higher preferred
- Diverse interest and experience across multiple apparel categories and styles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data
- Experience in e-commerce (Shopify required); fashion experience required
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Flexible availability to communicate with overseas suppliers across time zones
- Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and follow-through
