Your role and responsibilities

A network engineer designs, implements, and manages computer networks, ensuring efficient and secure communication within organizations. Duties may include, but not limited to:

• Develop and install network infrastructure, configurations and equipment such as routers and switches (5 years)

• Implement data security systems such as firewalls, virus protection software and data backups (3 years)

• Perform routine network maintenance, including troubleshooting and installing upgrades and service packs

• Provide on-site customer and technical support

• Consult with clients to suggest network solutions

• Test and install new computer systems, hardware, software and applications

• Develop engineering design packages to integrate new processes into existing ones

• Collaborate with clients, other tech support services and network providers to ensure the quality of networks

• Provide reports on a network's status to key stakeholders

Required technical and professional expertise

• Develop and install network infrastructure, configurations and equipment such as routers and switches (5 years)

• Implement data security systems such as firewalls, virus protection software and data backups (3 years)

• Perform routine network maintenance, including troubleshooting and installing upgrades and service packs (5 years)

• Must hold and have the ability to maintain TS/SCI clearance

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Proficiency in Additional ERP Systems: Experience with other Tier-2 ERP and MES systems beyond those listed, such as SAP or Oracle, can be beneficial in supporting clients' diverse business needs.

• Industry-Specific Package Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific packages and solutions can enhance ability to develop tailored solutions that meet clients' unique business requirements.

• Advanced Technology Integration: Experience with emerging technologies, such as cloud-based ERP systems or IoT integrations, can provide a competitive edge in delivering innovative solutions.
