Your role and responsibilities
As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Supply Chain Planning, you will help clients optimize their supply chain operations, enabling better advantaged pricing, greater efficiency, and improved service levels. You will drive strategic change and competitive advantage by recognizing operational improvements across various value chain areas. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Transform Supply Chain Operations: Identify and implement supply chain improvements, transforming operations from suppliers to the ultimate client, and refining or developing business strategies in targeted areas or across the whole supply chain. • Drive Strategic Change: Recognize operational improvements across various value chain areas, driving strategic change and competitive advantage for clients. • Optimize Client Operations: Enable clients to achieve better advantaged pricing, greater efficiency, and improved service levels through optimized supply chain operations. • Develop Business Strategies: Refine or develop business strategies in targeted areas or across the whole supply chain, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives. • Deliver Next-Generation Solutions: Work on next-generation supply chain operations, delivering innovative solutions that drive competitive advantage for clients.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in Supply Chain Optimization: Proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations, enabling better advantaged pricing, greater efficiency, and improved service levels for clients. • Experience with Strategic Change Management: Successful history of driving strategic change and competitive advantage by recognizing operational improvements across various value chain areas. • Business Strategy Development Expertise: Seasoned expertise in refining or developing business strategies in targeted areas or across the whole supply chain, aligning with client goals and objectives. • Next-Generation Supply Chain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of next-generation supply chain operations, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that drive competitive advantage for clients. • Value Chain Transformation Experience: Extensive experience in transforming operations from suppliers to the ultimate client, with a focus on improving overall supply chain performance.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Advanced Supply Chain Modeling: Deep understanding of advanced supply chain modeling techniques, including simulation, optimization, and predictive analytics, to drive strategic decision-making and improve supply chain performance. • Digital Transformation Expertise: Experience with digital transformation initiatives in supply chain operations, including the implementation of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT). • Industry-Specific Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of specific industries, such as retail, manufacturing, or pharmaceuticals, and their unique supply chain challenges and opportunities.
