We're seeking a full-time Hospitality Coordinator to join our Operations team at our Washington, DC, property. The Hospitality Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager. 

What You’ll Do:

The Hospitality Coordinator supports many aspects of the meeting and event offerings at this dedicated location in accordance with Convene’s vision, mission, and values, including our core principles. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations, exceptional service, and strong client relationships.

  • Coordinate program setup and execution across Service, Production, Technology, Culinary, Operations, and Customer Success teams
  • Support Food & Beverage execution by liaising with Culinary and Service teams to ensure alignment with client Program Execution Orders
  • Assist in supervising front-of-house service staff, supporting setup, event execution, breakdown, utilities, maintenance, and security needs
  • Greet, check in, and assist guests using ProxyClick; provide wayfinding, escort guests as needed, and manage welcome desk inquiries
  • Maintain a clean, organized welcome desk and coat room; manage badge printing, materials stocking, and lost & found
  • Problem-solve guest and client requests, escalating issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, members, building management, and landlord partners
  • Support Operations with room bookings (Robin), catering orders, building requests, mail and package handling
  • Assist with service execution during peak periods, including event setup and breakdown
  • Coordinate and execute Surprise & Delight moments for Workplace members and site tours
  • Support Service Manager and Chef with scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, demonstrating professionalism and GRIT in all interactions
  • Work dynamically, prioritize tasks across departments, and meet operational deadlines
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Brand Standards, and all applicable health and safety regulations (DOH, FDNY, OSHA, CDC, and local guidelines)
  • Maintain basic knowledge of Audio/Visual setup and usage
  • Utilize operational platforms including Salesforce WXM, ProxyClick, Envoy, GoParrot, Square, Robin, Zendesk, and Microsoft Office

What We Look For: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality 
  • Ability to work effectively with clients
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time

Base Salary:

Starting Hourly Rate: $28.00/hour

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
