Key Responsibilities:

• The key functions of the Energy Marshall | LOTO Manager is a significant part of the construction and commissioning efforts, ensuring focus and compliance for all types of energy isolation. This is an assurance role that helps ensure the vendors and constractors' Energy Isolation Program meets and exceeds all standards and policies.

Oversee all aspects of a complex electrical structures and construction project ensuring OSHA compliance

Establish and manages an Energy and Isolation Program that will be implemented throughout the project

Participate in High Risk Activity (HRA) planning meetings associated with Energy Isolation.

Ensures approval process for proposed Energy Isolation procedures is in place

Ensures all SoW's, MOPS, and Scripts are reviewed and all sources of energy are established.

Determine if a group or individual LOTO will be required

Serves as an independent authority for stopping all unsafe work practices regarding Energy Isolation

Attend safety department and management meetings, training workshops, and daily activity briefings

Requirements

5+ years of solid Safety Management in Electrical Construction and MEP required or 10+ years working as a Master Electrician Supervisor on complex projects

Advanced working knowledge of SPS-101 Energy Isolation guidelines

Must have experience working a data center build, or similar environment

Extensive experience in contractor communications, and liaising with design teams, and other project professionals

Bachelor's degree in a safety related field preferred

Master Electrician with a solid safety background is highly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills

Prior data center industry experience is required.

Journeyman or master electrician preferred

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

To perform this job successfully, an employee must be able to read blueprints/specifications and effectively use the following computer programs within a reasonable amount of time: Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Outlook & Word.

Excellent technical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make sound engineering judgments.

Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and adherence to project deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Proficiency in using software applications for design, analysis, and documentation (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).

Ability to work independently and in a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, working knowledge of iPad type instruments and various M/E industry “Apps”.

Know electrical systems basics and have a good working knowledge of NEC

Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb permanent and temporary stairs, ladders, crouch, kneel, and stand for long periods of time. Must also be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Must be able to utilize close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus.

Requires regular use of hands for inspection purposes.

Must have a solid understanding of jobsite risks and know/adhere to appropriate safety protocol at all times.

Must be able to work on multiple projects at one time.
