Job Description
- Extract and review inquiries from various referral systems (EPIC, Allscripts, fax, etc.)
- Approve/ Deny referrals based on facility's admitting criteria timely
- Coordinate with doctors, families, and hospital representatives to attract and admit suitable candidates.
- Establish and maintain a constant working relationship with all potential referral sources.
- Conduct pre-admission interviews with prospective residents/responsible parties and explain all facility services as needed.
- Work with multiple departments (i.e. Nursing, Social Services, Staffing, Housekeeping) to ensure a seamless admission into the facility.
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as applicable.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Prior Admissions experience
- LVN license
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented
Shift:
Full-Time
Monday- Friday
8:30am - 5:00pm
Some weekends
