Position Summary
The Retail.com Merchant Assistant will aid with retail site merchandising, item set up, and content implementation within e.l.f. Beauty’s product information management platform (PIM) to syndicate product information for brands e.l.f. Cosmetics, e.l.f. SKIN, and Well People, across our20 North American Retail Dotcom platforms. This position will support the Ecommerce team with online retail site appearance creating continuity/structure across platforms, resulting in an increase in consumer engagement and sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site appearance analysis (perform site QA), review/optimize existing product display page (PDP) content, and implement changes for improving online appearance, KPIs, and consumer engagement for North American retail.com sites 
  • Manage the collection, moderation, and publishing of User-Generated Content (UGC) through Bazaar voice, ensuring accurate and timely syndication across brand and retail channels 
  • Perform data entry by uploading product attributes (including but not limited to product description, direction, ingredients, images, and video) provided by channel manager(s) into Syndigo platform and retail sites for product launches 
  • Aid with publishing enhanced content for e.l.f. Beauty brands in content syndication platform (Syndigo) to provide consumers with clear and thorough product information to help guide their purchasing decision 
  • Attend go-to-market (GTM) and related sales and brand meetings to execution product launches 
  • Ensure brand content across online retailers is cohesive and following retail strategy, differentiating product content by brand, retail requirements and style guides 
  • Help with administrative task (organising/complete retail documents) and troubleshoot issues related to merchandise and the product life cycle on retail websites 
  • Examine monthly North America retail.com performance reports to understand business metrics and modification of sales based on content changes on retailer scorecards (increase scorecard content health)  
  • Identify new content ideas based on retail and brand data to increase brand presence on retailer and third-party platforms 
  • Stay up to date with the latest cosmetics and skincare social media trends that can translate to onsite content through recommendations and optimisations.
  • Requirements

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Knowledge of digital analytics (e.g. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Organic Digital Marketing) 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Relevant copywriting skills 
  • Beneficial to have experience working on a retail, e-commerce and/or consumer products brand 
  • Experience in site merchandising, digital marketing, or e-commerce is a plus 
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline-driven 
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative manner.
