Description
ABM/Avis is hiring drivers for rental car operations in Midtown Manhattan. Drivers will safely move various vehicles between rental lots and garages, inspect for damage, and maintain vehicle safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive vehicles of various sizes (sedans, SUVs, vans, pickups) between rental locations
- Conduct vehicle inspections for safety and maintenance concerns
- Report any incidents or vehicle issues to the Supervisor or Shift Lead
- Complete pre- and post-inspection checklists
- Operate in compliance with traffic safety and company procedures
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid, unexpired driver’s license
- No high school diploma or GED required
- No previous experience required
- Must have open availability for shifts, including weekends/holidays
- Must be able to pass an onsite drug test (administered during the event for those moving forward)
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow verbal/written instructions
- Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact professionally with customers, staff, and the public
