Report to Corporate Director of Finance
The Corporate Accounting Manager will provide consistent mid-level leadership and will be responsible for focusing on the profitability of the business, maintaining accurate and timely operational finance processes, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role will also safeguard owners’ and investors’ assets.
Requirements
Under the direction of Director of Finance, Responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing third party payments through accurate reconciliation of financial records.
- Providing management oversight to ensure the accuracy and integrity of hotel operations including accounts payable and receivable functions, purchasing, disbursement, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Supporting internal customers (10+ hotel and corporate entities) as a shared service corporate function.
- Maintaining timely interaction with hotel finance and corporate finance teams to assure that property operations are on track and under control at all times.
- Preparing monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations for corporate entities and spot check for hotel entities
- Ensuring compliance with Millennium Accounting Policies and Procedures and internal controls for our finance and accounting operations
- Communicating issues related to management of receivables, payables and timely deposits of all funds.
- Monitoring hotel revenues and expenses to ensure the accurate recording, in accordance with Millennium Hotel’s established guidelines.
- Assisting with Internal/External/Tax audits as required.
- Preparing special reports, statements, etc., as requested by the management and hotel teams.
