What you will do :

  • Understand requirements from architecture, design documents and come up with in-depth test plan, test cases.
  • Installing product on Linux backend (cloud + BareMetal environments) using Kubernetes and ELK stack, Creating simple/complex test setups as per the requirements of the testing.
  • Executing test cases and validating the test status based on the expectations for the test case. Always do testing with intent of finding good bugs, must have test to break attitude.
  • Ensure comprehensive testing which involves, Functional, Negative, Manual and automated regression testing.
  • Ability to fully understand system logs, test tool logs and use this understanding for debugging issues and identifying accurate root causes for the problems seen on the system under test or in the network
  • Using the test expertise and identifying overall improvements and enhancements which are possible on the system
  • Debugging field log/data and identifying potential problems and re-creating the same in the lab
  • Be able to strategize and implement new and efficient ways to streamline QA test planning and strategy.
  • Be able to quickly root cause customer issues and replicate customer configs in lab environment in limited time, working rapidly to solve customer issues.

    • What you need

  • 2- 5 years of experience in end-to-end testing of SMO (Service Management and Orchestration) components and troubleshooting issues of radio access technology (telecom domain).
  • Familiarity in creating complex test plans for SMO features and root causing issues,
  • Expertise in manual testing with solid understanding of QA processes, SDLC, V&V model, Bug life cycle, severity/priority of bugs/test cases 
  • Experience of working in Agile/SCRUM environment 
  • Sound knowledge of Linux commands, shell scripting 
  • Good Hands-on Knowledge in automation testing using python/pytest. Automation and Scripting is priority for this role.
  • Good to have understanding of helm charts, docker containers, Kubernetes based deployments and its basic concepts 
  • Good to have knowledge of Jenkins pipelines, CICD concepts.
