POSITION DESCRIPTION
We seek a highly motivated and energetic Quality Control Inspector to join our Operations team. This position will involve following established procedures and protocols to perform receiving and inspections on incoming raw materials and manufactured products. Seeking a candidate that can maneuver through shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment in an organized and systemic approach thinking process to maximize activities output.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform receiving and inspection of production incoming raw material/components
- Perform visual inspections on sub-assemblies and final products for defects
- Document inspection results and input KPI trending data
- Enter receiving information into electronic inventory system
- Interact with external teams to communicate issues and collaborate for resolution
- Perform inventory cycle counts activities
- Assist in manufactured product release
- Assist with document update/revision
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or AA Degree
- Minimum 1 year industry experience performing receiving, incoming inspection, and product inspection
- Experience handling biological/chemical raw materials
- Observant, detail oriented, efficient, and organize
- Good communication and written skills
- Basic computer skills (spreadsheet entry, email communication, internet navigation, etc.)
- Ability to stand/sit for long period time, access difficult-to-reach spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to decipher small prints under magnification conditions for long period of time.
- Experience working in an ISO 13485/GMP environment is preferred
The base salary range for this full-time position is $20/hour - $25/hour + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
