FOIA Analyst Supporting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
US Federal Solutions is seeking an experienced FOIA Analyst to support U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This role is ideal for a detail oriented professional who understands federal procurement environments, transparency requirements, and the importance of handling sensitive information with care. You will play a key role in supporting FOIA operations and ensuring compliance with federal regulations while working alongside mission driven government partners.
What You’ll Do
- Support ICE FOIA and procurement related activities by reviewing, analyzing, and preparing documentation responsive to FOIA requests
- Interpret and apply federal transparency and procurement regulations, including FOIA, the Privacy Act, and the Federal Acquisition Regulation
- Review contract files and other government records to identify responsive, releasable information
- Develop clear, well organized documentation and correspondence in support of FOIA responses
- Apply analytical and qualitative techniques to resolve complex or interrelated FOIA issues
- Use sound judgment to analyze data, draw well supported conclusions, and recommend appropriate strategies
- Maintain strict operational security standards and properly handle procurement sensitive, law enforcement sensitive, and other protected information
- Collaborate with government staff and stakeholders while meeting deadlines and compliance requirements

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
- Degree completion is required; enrollment alone does not meet the requirement
- Official transcripts must be available for review
- At least four years of documented experience as a FOIA Specialist, Procurement Analyst, or in a closely related federal support role
- Demonstrated experience providing procurement or contracting support to a federal government agency
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Proven ability to interpret and apply FOIA, Privacy Act, FAR, and other relevant transparency or procurement regulations
- Experience reviewing government documentation, including contract files and spreadsheets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to safeguard sensitive information and report operational security concerns appropriately
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information management, contracting, law, or a related field
- Experience managing procurement sensitive or law enforcement sensitive information
- Knowledge of and experience using government contract writing or procurement systems such as PRISM
