Position Overview
Betabrand is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our development team. This internship provides hands-on experience building and maintaining e-commerce applications, internal tools, and web solutions that power our brand. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to real projects while gaining valuable industry experience.
This is a paid internship at $23/hour, offering practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world software development in an innovative e-commerce environment.
- Assist in designing, coding, testing, and deploying web and mobile applications.
- Participate in team code reviews and collaborate with engineers on ongoing projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
- Contribute to feature development, performance optimization, and user experience improvements.
- Document code and workflows to support team knowledge sharing.
- Learn and apply best practices for software development, testing, and version control.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and programming languages (Python, Java, Ruby, or similar).
- Familiarity with frameworks, version control (Git), and databases is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or on-site setting.
