Responsibilities: The Program Director has the overall responsibility for managing their assigned programs and services and directing staff in accordance with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. The Program Director is responsible for all aspects of program operation.
- Day to Day Program Operations: Oversee proper supervision and staffing for all persons served. Ensure that services provided are person-centered, age-appropriate, and community focused. Maintain a working knowledge of licensing and regulatory standards. Maintain a professional and positive behavioral atmosphere by promoting the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- Program Development & Quality Enhancement: Abide by and implement all program requirements and regulations applicable to MSS. Identify program development goals and implement plans to report on and achieve goals. Oversee the provision of program services. Work collaboratively to develop best practices in service delivery and performance improvement. Ensure the safety and health of staff and persons served.
- Leadership & Personnel Management: Provide supervision and support to staff including recognition, guidance, and feedback. Work collaboratively with Human Resources to recruit and retain staff. Ensure that training requirements are met by all staff. Identify training needs and seek resources. Model and promote solutions-based problem solving.
- Community Engagement: Act as a liaison with other appropriate agencies and organizations to promote the interests of MSS. Take an active role in assisting with and attending agency-sponsored events.
- Financial Management: Responsible for budget creation for assigned program. Monitor revenue and expenses on a regular basis. Work collaboratively with the accounting department on budget creation, identification of issues, etc. Maintain accurate attendance and billing for assigned program.
Requirements
Qualifications: Qualifications: Must meet the qualifications of a Designated Manager under 245D. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have a demonstrated ability to motivate and direct the work of others. Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors is required. Strong computer skills and organizational skills are required.
Benefits
Hours & Benefits: This is a full-time position, generally Monday – Friday daytime hours. Some evenings and weekends may be required. Competitive wages. The starting salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. Benefits include health, dental, life and disability insurance, paid holidays and PTO and a 401K plan. AA/EEO Employer.
