This role offers the opportunity to lead and oversee project management operations within a dynamic clinical research environment. You will provide strategic guidance and mentorship to project managers, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage risks, resolve challenges, and optimize service delivery for a dedicated sponsor. You will oversee multiple projects, supporting operational and financial objectives while fostering professional growth within your team. This role demands a balance of hands-on leadership, regulatory expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to drive successful outcomes across complex clinical studies.

Accountabilities:
• Provide oversight to project managers in day-to-day project execution, ensuring operational and financial deliverables are met.
• Guide staff on project planning, execution, review, risk mitigation, problem solving, and client management.
• Lead line management responsibilities for assigned project management staff, including mentoring and performance development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to clinical research protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support high-quality, timely delivery of clinical projects.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address issues to maintain alignment with sponsor expectations.

Requirements

 • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulations, compliance requirements, and drug development processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results across quality, time, and financial metrics.
• Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Experience in mentoring and developing project management staff.
