Description
To further promote digital health protection and provide even more pets with access to meaningful care, we are entering the Spanish market with our pet insurance product - petolo. We are therefore looking for a Country Manager (Spain) (m/f/d) to support the expansion and creation of the Spanish team.
You should ideally live in the Berlin/Brandenburg area - if this is not the case, you can still apply.
Your role in a team
- Organization, steering and implementation of key activities for a successful launch of the pet vertical in Spain
- Management of all operations within the Spanish market. This involves taking responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.
- Management and development of local teams consisting of multiple operational roles such as marketing, sales, customer service and claims management
- Constant analysis of the market and adaptation of business strategies according to customer or market needs
- Intermediary between central core services, business entities and capabilities and local market and customer requirements for the pet vertical
- External stakeholder management with key stakeholders within Zurich Germany & Group
- Acting as a spokesperson for the Spanish market
- Strong connector and leader
- Fluent in Spanish and English, German is a plus
Requirements
- Min. 8 years of work experience
- Experience in fast paced environments (e.g. startup and scale-up) and/or & project management (e.g. consulting)
- Strong track record in d2c (performance) marketing domain and go-to-market strategy and execution
- Strong track record in geographical expansion ideally in d2c businesses
- Experience working with or in Spanish businesses and in-depth knowledge of Spanish culture
- Strong track record in building and leading bigger teams and managing multiple-stakeholder projects
Nice-to-Have
- Ideal candidate has developed substantial insurance industry expertise in previous position (e.g. consulting mandates or project manager in insurance/insurtech/or similar)
- Ideally proficient knowledge of the Spanish insurance market
