We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead advanced analytics and AI initiatives in the healthcare domain. This role focuses on leveraging large, complex datasets (EHRs, claims, imaging, genomics, operational data) to develop predictive models, optimize processes, and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of healthcare data and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Modeling
- Design, develop, and validate machine learning models using multimodal healthcare datasets.
- Implement predictive analytics for clinical and operational improvements.
- Conduct rigorous validation aligned with clinical KPIs and regulatory standards (HIPAA, FDA).
- AI/ML Pipeline Development
- Architect scalable, production-ready AI/ML pipelines.
- Manage model lifecycle: versioning, retraining, governance, and compliance.
- Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with clinicians, engineers, and business teams to integrate AI into workflows.
- Translate complex clinical problems into actionable data-driven solutions.
- Reporting & Visualization
- Present insights through dashboards and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Communicate findings clearly to support decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and big data tools.
· Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data wrangling.
· Experience with healthcare data standards and compliance.
· Domain Expertise: Familiarity with EHR systems, claims data, and clinical workflows.
· Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
