Job Description:
IFS is seeking a Thought Leadership & Creative Marketing Manager to play an important role in a unique aspect of its marketing strategy. To stand out among the crowd, IFS recognizes that thought leadership, storytelling, and community building are essential. At the core of this approach are independently branded thought leadership platforms: Future of Field Service (FoFS) and Future of Assets (FoA). These platforms aim to engage with their respective markets at the very top of the funnel and, over time, increase IFS’s visibility, credibility, and influence. This strategic marketing function operates as a small, collaborative team within the broader IFS marketing organization.
As the Thought Leadership & Strategic Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in the operations of FoFS and FoA, and work collaboratively across functions to integrate the thought leadership approach and outputs of FoFS and FoA more centrally into other facets of the IFS business. The FoFS and FoA platforms are run as true media outlets, so this role includes both the creative freedom to co-create exciting initiatives, as well as the responsibility to deliver business value for IFS from various projects.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about marketing, an effective communicator, and demonstrates strong follow-through. To succeed in this role, you will be motivated, comfortable contributing within a small team, and value authenticity. The position requires both strategic and creative thinking, as well as the ability to execute seamlessly with attention to detail.
You will be responsible for elevating and amplifying the thought leadership and storytelling efforts of FoFS/FoA through social media, newsletters, SEO, research projects, events, and more. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, as well as interact with global thought leaders. You should bring analytical capabilities and digital fluency, and be open to using AI-based tools to continually improve outputs and amplify impact.

- Maintain departmental priorities, allocate resources, and determine project direction in line with established priorities
- Contribute to planning and execution of FoFS events, as well as support FoFS/FoA-related presence at IFS events
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate FoFS/FoA insights into marketing plans and campaigns, as well as business development and sales enablement strategies where applicable
- Coordinate agency efforts when enlisted for specific projects
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Strong analytical, writing, listening, and presentation skills
- Proficient in generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) and design platforms like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
- Comfortable working across time zones and cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Able to manage multiple priorities/projects and follow through on tasks independently
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, inclusive, and adaptable mindset
