Coordinate trade settlements in the Syndicated Loan Market: liaise with counterparties on primary trades, par and distressed secondary trades, equity trades and trade claims (At Par Trades).
Manage both settled balances and cash balances to schedule trade closings with counterparties.
Prepare and review trade position. Facilitate cash movement with appropriate operational contacts.
Troubleshoot, escalate, and solve problems that arise from trade discrepancies.
Monitor and follow up on aged trades.
Facilitate amendments, non-pro-rata paydown, and other life cycle events.
Ensuring timely delivery of internal & external reports.
Preparing MIS reports.
Responsibilities
The role needs to coordinate trade settlements in the Syndicated loan market. Connect with various counterparties. To perform crucial administrative responsibilities in settlement process. Monitor and follow up on the trades assigned. Understanding various responsibilities for primary, par and distress trading. A proactive approach towards settling trades. Understanding of different deadlines for Delayed compensation and various other fee types. Basic accounting and bookkeeping for the borrower.
Qualifications
• 0 to 2 years experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in client and client counterparty management would be ab added advantage.
• Experience in the Syndicated Loan market (LSTA and LMA) will be definite advantage.
• Both Buy and Sell side domain depth.
• Understanding of Loan and Credit related products.
• Knowledge of Trade life cycle and Capital Market.
• Graduate (any stream) (Commerce Graduate will have added advantage)
• Dynamic and open to learn approach to work and life.
• Ability to analyze issues and apply analytical/ Logical thinking.
• Computer Proficiency and MS Office suite of applications.
. Work Conditions
• 9 hour shift between 1:30 pm IST and 3:30 am IST. Readiness to stretch when required.
• This operation will follow US holidays (client’s holiday calendar) as the operations are tied to the New York financial markets.
