The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a key role in driving strategic growth and market expansion for a multi-location collision center network. This role focuses on increasing revenue through partnership development, acquisition scouting, and brand expansion. The BDM will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with insurers, fleets, dealerships, and potential acquisition targets, and execute strategies that support sustainable, profitable growth across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Growth & Acquisition Support

  • Identify and evaluate potential collision center acquisition targets that align with company growth strategy.
  • Conduct market research and financial analysis to support acquisition decisions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition onboarding.
  • Develop geographic growth plans to expand the company’s footprint and market share.

Partnership & Network Development

  • Negotiate partnership agreements and service contracts to secure long-term business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage local and regional referral networks that drive volume across all locations.

Revenue & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve multi-location revenue and profitability goals.
  • Monitor location performance and identify opportunities for cross-location optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with location managers to align operational capacity with growth objectives.

Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Provide regular reports for executive leadership on acquisition pipeline, revenue performance, and market trends.
  • Track KPIs including lead generation, conversion rates, partner retention, and ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to annual strategic and budgeting processes by identifying new growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, mergers & acquisitions, or sales management
  • Proven success in developing partnerships and executing business growth strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to evaluate business performance metrics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel between multiple locations as needed.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
