About the role
Our team is expanding and we are seeking a Procurement and SRM Partner to join the Guinness team. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy which can be based in either our Central London office, or Oldham office. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week working from either our London or Oldham office 3 days per week, and the option to work 2 days per week remotely.
In this role, you will manage and deliver procurement projects and develop commercial procurement strategies for designated business portfolios to achieve value for money throughout Guinness.

What we’re looking for

In this role, you will draw on your expertise in procurement, applying your precision, resilience, and strategic mindset to deliver real impact. We are particularly interested in people with experience of overseeing IT or generalist procurement.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of procurement, ideally within housing or the public sector.
- Experience of adding value and additional commercial benefit through the development of constructive supplier relationships.
- Experience of managing the complete tendering process.
- Proven project / programme management experience including ability to manage large scale multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience of implementing Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators in relation to Contract Management.
- Excellent knowledge of UK procurement regulatory requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of business management principles including decision making, negotiation, planning, budgeting and projections.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proven experience of delivering effective and compliant procurement solutions across a range of asset management and asset compliance functions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
- MCIPS qualified and/or equivalent.
