Works externally with universities and internally with Clinical programs and supervisors to recruit, interview, place, and develop both clinical social work interns and their supervisors with the goal of strengthening Pacific Clinics' workforce toward the ultimate improvement of our clients.

Job Summary
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
Works within the vision, mission, and philosophy of the agency. Assists the Director with implementing strategies to accomplish the agency annual priorities at the program level. Under direction of the Director, interacts with university and external partners. Assists the Director with the budget process.Coordinates and develops clinical supervisors. Ensures that intern supervisors are competent and have all tools necessary to clinically develop early career Social Workers and student interns. Coordinates supervision, training and coaching of program personnel, and site-based supervisors. Provides administrative back up for the Director. Collaborates regarding agency-wide initiatives, annual priorities, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) efforts. Works with corporate departments to ensure collaboration with programs.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Develops and implements social work internship placements and training across counties and programs in collaboration with the Director of Social Work.
• Assists director in ensuring the efficacy of the services provided by agency MSWs/ASWs via program evaluation, program development, and program implementation.
• Coordinates intern placements with program needs and supervision availability.
• Coordinates supervision, training and coaching of program personnel, and site-based supervisors.
• Liaisons and conducts outreach to social work programs in designated regions.
• Interacts with schools of social work and ensures Agency compliance with Memorandums of Understanding and/or Affiliation agreements with schools.
• Under direction of the Director, actively leads the recruitment, interviewing, matching and onboarding of clinical interns in designated regions.
• Implements and monitors standards of internship to comply with Clinical Social Work Standards (CSWC) and requirements.
• Develops and implements internship program to include evidence-based and continuous quality improvement (CQI) practices.
• Monitors programs regarding direct service contacts, including participating in intern department operations meetings. Meets regularly with relevant clinical operations management.
• Provides student candidates, faculty advisers and supervisors with guidelines and evaluation criteria.
• Provides and receives feedback from interns, university liaisons/advisers and intern/student supervisors.
• Assists Director, HR, Programs, and interns to enhance recruitment/retention of interns upon eligibility for employment.
• Provides licensure/supervision training to agency direct service clinicians and supervisors.
• Provides clinical supervision as needed.
• Provides project and change management leadership as needed.
• Assists the Director with programmatic tasks and projects, clinical backup, and managerial support as required (i.e. annual report and budget).
• Performs other responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs.

Qualifications
• Master's degree in social work, licensure, and four (4) years related experience, including two years post-licensure, and program leadership/supervisory experience.
• Licensed LCSW, with three (3) to five (5) years of experience in community mental health providing full range of mental health services to children, family and adults.
• Licensed by the CA BBS for a minimum of two years, or out of state licensed for a minimum of 5 years prior to relocating to CA.
• Previous experience providing clinical supervision to BSW students and/or MSW interns.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences Regulations regarding Associate Clinical Social Workers, MSW internship requirements and requirements for licensing and supervision.
• Ability to develop, manage and implement discipline specific training materials.

Level of Contact with Children
Will not have unsupervised contact with children.
Driving Privileges
Must possess a valid CA driver's license and insurance with two years’ experience and maintain an insurable driving record under the agency’s liability policy.
