Job Summary

As an Investigator in the Ethics & Investigations team, you will support the handling of complex internal investigations across the Tetra Laval Group into alleged breaches of our Code of Conduct and Whistleblowing allegations (including bribery, fraud, conflicts of interest, harassment and discrimination).  You will ensure investigations are conducted thoroughly, fairly, and in accordance with internal policies, applicable laws, and best practices. You will also support the Ethics & Investigations Director and Senior Investigator to establish an effective ethics framework based on high ethical standards, values and a speak-up culture across the Group.

 

This is a permanent position based in based in Windsor, UK - Global travel as required for investigations and stakeholder engagement

What you will do

•    Investigations:
- Support the Senior Investigator to handle complex investigations into allegations of misconduct, including fraud, corruption, and other unethical behaviours.
- For less complex investigations (conducted by the business) ensure investigations are conducted thoroughly, impartially, and in a timely manner.
- Prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Legal, HR, IT Security and business teams to gather evidence, and to coordinate the investigation and any subsequent case management actions.
- Support the Senior Investigator in the assessment and triage of incoming allegations to determine investigation response and prioritisation of case intake.


•    Compliance:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.


•    Reporting and Communication:
- Analyse case data to prepare management reports on investigations with a focus on identifying trends and themes. 
- Maintain confidential records of all investigations and compliance activities.


•    Leadership and Strategy:
- Support the Ethics & Investigations Director in developing a comprehensive ethics programme and governance framework, including updates to the Tetra Laval Group Code of Conduct, Whistle-blowing policy, and associated procedures.
- Collaborate with the Industry Group Governance teams to provide guidance and support the effective implementation of the group framework and promote an ethical culture, including training and awareness as required.


•    Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Support the implementation of improvements to the ethics and compliance program. 
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and ethical behaviour across the group

We believe you have

•    Education to degree level.
•    Minimum of 3+ years of experience in ethics, compliance, or investigations.
•    Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in conducting investigations in a corporate environment.
•    Experience of using a third party whistleblowing platform and engaging with reporter of concerns. 
•    Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
•    Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
•    High level of integrity and ethical judgment.
