Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist

The Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist is a key member of the Digital Product team responsible for analyzing user behavior, identifying conversion barriers and opportunities, and implementing data-driven strategies to improve website performance. This role focuses on optimizing funnels, enhancing user experience, and driving measurable growth in lead generation and sales through A/B testing and analytics.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze website and landing page performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Fullstory) to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for conversion improvement.

· Develop, execute, and monitor A/B and multivariate testing strategies through Monetate to optimize site elements, including CTAs, forms, content, and navigation.

· Collaborate with marketing, UX, development, and content teams to implement and measure CRO strategies.

· Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods, including user surveys, heatmaps, and session recordings to gain insights into user behavior and preferences.

· Report on test results, key findings, and ROI of optimization initiatives to stakeholders.

· Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of CRO techniques.

· Recommend and implement improvements to overall digital customer journeys and funnel performance.

· Manage CRO tools (i.e. Monetate, Fullstory).

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business Statistics, or related field.

· 3–5 years of experience in CRO, analytics, or digital marketing.

· Proficiency in analytics tools (Monetate, Fullstory, Google Analytics)

· Strong understanding of conversion funnels.

· Experience designing, running, and interpreting A/B and multivariate tests.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Basic knowledge of HTMl, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

 

Work Environment & Travel

· Hybrid work environment based in Urbandale, IA.

· Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required for team collaboration or train
