Based in our Birmingham, AL office for Summer 2026, this opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting design and reporting work that helps airports meet the needs of today and tomorrow.

Based in our Birmingham, AL office for Summer 2026, this opportunity offers hands-on experience supporting design and reporting work that helps airports meet the needs of today and tomorrow.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with experienced aviation design professionals 
  • Support design activities for aviation-related projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Prepare construction documents and technical reports
  • Assist with plan development and submission packages
  • Perform routine civil engineering tasks under the supervision of a licensed engineer
  • Participate in aviation site visits as needed 


  • Required Qualifications
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
