Shift-Days

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure inventory levels are sufficient to support the production of all assembly lines
  • Identify areas of opportunity and develop strategies to improve productivity, quality and employee engagement
  • Understand the key performance indicators that support continued business growth 
  • Maintain high levels of 5S in all production departments.
  • Support the management and direction of all production parts and quality activity to ensure a safe work environment 
  • Responsible for creating and executing a culture of continuous improvement
  • Assist with developing and implementing production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance and other operational reports to detect production problems
  • Set and monitor product standards and examining samples of product part and testing during processing
  • Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance
  • Aligns Innovation team to forecast and reduces labor expense, forecasts, tracks and escalates as necessary
  • Lead and develop a high performance team
  • Lead efforts to increase employee satisfaction and strengthen employee culture
  • Advocate for people oriented management ensuring equality for employees
  • Trains and coaches team in the Jeong Do Management Principles
  • Conducts employee evaluations to ensure each employee has a development plan, is challenged and is motivated to continue their professional growth
  • Achievement of daily, monthly and annual team targets
  • Responsible for establishing and promoting a safe working environment and establishes and monitors compliance activities to support the safety program.

    Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in business engineering or related field
  • 7 to 10 years previous management experience in a manufacturing environment  
  • Strong understanding of production of complex equipment and system integration
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements that includes but not limited to manufacturing and Six Sigma lean manufacturing
  • Technical ability with problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to use strong skills in analyzing, troubleshooting and evaluating problems
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with metal stamps, injection mold, and paint systems preferred
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing including machine capabilities and efficiencies, etc.
