Role Overview
- Utilize QA/QC principles to maintain high-capacity utilization and optimize manufacturing and service operations ensuring product and service meets customer requirements.
- Support MPW Quality Management System (QMS) processes and communications ensuring customer and corporate satisfaction.
- Provide a variety of administrative and support duties for NGS Quality Control Group and other departments, as required. Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines with a very dynamic and experienced team is needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to understand quality systems, as established from industry specific codes and standards.
- Manage the document control system, including procedures and work instructions to support the MPW Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain a well-organized document control/archival system for project quality documents.
- Generate Quality related procedures and specifications to support the MPW Quality Management System (QMS).
- Have a full grasp and understanding of Project PQPs and ITPs as related to all the GT Auxiliary commodities typical of all MPW-A Projects.
- On all proposals, coordinate with Comm/Ops and other departments as required to generate proposal PQPs and ITPs
- On all projects, coordinate with Project Execution Team to generate the Project specific PQPs and ITPs after award of Order.
- Manage, log and track all Notifications of Inspections for all Customer related Hold and Witness Points, coordinating with SQEs and Customers alike.
- Support the SQE in the generation and/or closing of Quality Notifications (QNs). Managing the QN is SAP and managing the QN folders.
- Quality Support Processes. This includes assisting the SQEs to manage MDLs in Share Point. Participate in related meetings, as needed.
- Create and maintain final inspection project folders.
- Support the establishment of quality related training programs and techniques.
- Perform supplier evaluations, surveillance and source inspections as required.
- Assist in maintaining the NCR, CAR and PAR databases, and coordinating the process of issuing, monitoring and closing open NCRs/CARs/PARs.
- Assist management to create and report on QN Metrics.
- Perform other such duties as may be required.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; at least three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing or service environment would be a plus.

- Must have good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet established deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and delegate tasks readily.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, Excel, database, project management, spreadsheet, and word processing software, electronic mail, statistical software, graphics, technical diagrams, flow charts, etc.
