Role Summary
Join MANN+HUMMEL’s Life Sciences & Environment (LS&E) division as Head of HR Global Water Membrane Solutions (WMS) – a key leadership role shaping the people strategy for one of the most dynamic growth segments in the company.
As the strategic HR partner to the Senior Vice President & General Manager Global WMS, you will lead the global HR agenda across our international locations in Europe, Asia and North America.
The position is preferably based in Wiesbaden (Germany), but can also be located at one of our European Water & Membrane Solutions sites, such as Fano/Cerreto (Italy) or other Water LS&E facilities within Europe.
Your mission: strengthen leadership capability, organizational culture, and workforce strategy to enable sustainable growth and global competitiveness in the rapidly expanding water filtration market.
Main Tasks
- Strategic HR Leadership: Act as trusted partner to the BU leadership team and the SVP Global WMS, translating business objectives into a clear and actionable people strategy that supports growth, innovation, and global competitiveness.
- Organizational Development & Transformation: Drive organizational design, integration of acquired entities, and transformation initiatives across all global WMS sites. Build structures and capabilities that enable scalability, agility, and long-term business sustainability.
- Talent, Leadership & Capability Development: Establish a robust leadership and technical talent pipeline through succession planning, targeted development programs, and global learning initiatives. Foster future-ready skills to support business evolution.
- Culture, Engagement & Inclusion: Promote a strong, values-driven culture that connects diverse teams across geographies. Lead employee engagement programs and strengthen collaboration, trust, and inclusion throughout the global organization.
- Performance, Reward & Workforce Strategy: Align performance management, compensation, and workforce planning processes with strategic objectives, ensuring transparency, fairness, and measurable impact on business results.
- Governance, Compliance & Collaboration: Safeguard adherence to local labor laws and corporate HR standards. Collaborate closely with Centers of Expertise, regional HR, and Corporate HR to ensure operational excellence and consistency.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing global HR team. Foster empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement while promoting professional growth and cross-regional collaboration.
- External & Business Enablement: Represent the BU in external HR and industry networks to enhance employer branding, attract high-potential talent, and position MANN+HUMMEL WMS as an employer of choice in global water filtration.
Your Profile
Education:
Master’s degree or MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in Life Sciences, Environmental, or Manufacturing industries preferred.
Professional Experience:
- At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5+ years in HR leadership within an international, matrix-driven organization.
- Proven record in driving HR transformation, organizational design, and leadership development globally.
Expertise:
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to translate people strategies into measurable business outcomes.
- Expertise in talent management, change management, and global HR governance.
- Deep understanding of labor laws, compliance, and HR operations across regions.
- Financial literacy and a results-oriented approach linking HR to business performance.
Language Skills:
Fluent in English; additional languages (especially German, Italian, or Chinese) are an advantage.
Personality:
- Inspirational leader with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
- High adaptability, resilience, and intercultural competence.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20–25%).
