Position Overview:
We are looking for a self-motivated project manager to join the Insulet Commercial Program Management Team at an incredibly exciting time for the organization. This position is responsible for supporting the North America Customer Experience teams and is responsible for project management of Customer Care and Product Support initiatives, projects and programs. This individual will have a solid understanding of project administration principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities
Partnering with Program/Project Managers to ensure programs/projects are managed efficiently and effectively by participating in and driving all phases of development starting with concept through design transfer.
Developing and maintaining project plans, project schedules, and resource plans.
Facilitates the appropriate project management methodology (i.e. Waterfall; Agile) and activities, supports the work efforts of resources that are functionally aligned as part of the project team
Maintaining database tools to track performance milestones and deliverables.
Ensuring project remains within scope, on schedule, and within budget.
Preparing presentation materials for meetings and providing post-meeting minutes and actions to stakeholders.
Preparing project summary reports for standard and ad hoc reporting, and training.
Recommending and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices within the PMO
Tracking and timely escalation of project risks and issues and provide solutions by applying procedures and standard practices
Supporting project task assignment and status monitoring for validation activities
Assisting Project Managers with planning validation activities to align with timing for strategic initiatives (developmental, overtime)
Adhering to all regulatory agency standards, company quality standards and corporate policies
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand, approximately 25% of the time

Required Skills and Competencies

Proficient in the following computer software applications: MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); Smartsheet
Strong clear verbal, written communication skills in English to effectively communicate both internally and externally with onsite and remote teams/vendors
Ability to work both independently and as a team, fostering Teamwork to work cooperatively and effectively with team members
Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams, on concurrent projects
Ability to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards
Ability to be empathetic, yet firm, with challenging customers, and to be persistent in reminding both customers and implementers of outstanding action items

Exercises good judgement and the capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action, including escalation when appropriate
Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Level of Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline field of study
3 years of demonstrated experience with project management working in a technical discipline
Proficiency in project management, planning and organizing
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced growth industry and work environment
Prefer knowledge of US and International Medical Device and Drug Delivery Regulations
Prefer Knowledge of product development lifecycle, including software and/or disposable development
Prior experience working in a regulated environment such as Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals is preferred, but not required
Prefer experience in a GMP/FDA regulated environment or other regulated industry
Prefer experience using project management software (MS Project, Miro, Jira, etc.)
Prefer experience overseeing call center and site start up projects, scheduling of new hire classes, and tracking classes.
Prefer experience with Medical Device regulations (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, 21 CFR part 820.30-Design Controls)
Physical Requirements (if applicable):
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment
Manual dexterity needed for using calculator and computer keyboard
Lightweight lifting may be required
