POSITION SUMMARY

  • Vertiv has a transformational opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst who will be a key partner for the Americas Procurement team, including Commodity Management, Supplier Management and Procurement Operations. The Analyst is responsible in processing Change Order which includes review of parts involved, identify who is the correct supplier and Commodity Manager, and properly assign commodity code. They may also conduct initial follow-ups to both internal and external stakeholders to expedite the process. In addition, they handle request for technical drawing specification and other Change Order related reports and analysis. Lastly, they contribute to the team in delivering the KPIs and initiatives by evaluating data to generate reports and strategic insights to drive the Americas Procurement KPIs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•            Gather, scrub, manipulate data to generate simple reports and analysis related to Change Order process.

•            Ensure predefined process is being followed to ensure accuracy of information.

•            Maintain the task tracking sheets of the team, input new items, monitor stakeholders on-time delivery and aging items for closure.

•            Support the regular updates of the team’s various KPI dashboards to ensure its completeness and accuracy.

•            Complete workload on time.  Monitors if transactions are processed in a timely manner.

•            Promote quality governance to mitigate escalations from stakeholders.

•            Support the implementation of error-proofing method to ensure all transactions done are accurate.

•            Conduct initial follow-ups and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.

•            Support the team’s business overview presentations and KPI reporting to business partners.

•            Assist stakeholder/supplier needs, servicing, follow-up, cadence call and closure of issues.

•            Provide feedback on stakeholder/supplier inquiries/requests on a timely manner.

•            Provide solutions and sound recommendation to stakeholder/supplier's basic queries & problems.

•            Support the conference calls, meetings, and discussions with stakeholders/suppliers.

•            Coordinate with other team/support to complete the request of stake holders.

•            Records and submits periodic and/or quarterly transaction records, log sheets/trackers and slide decks.

•            Plans and collaborates on workload and projects with the team in cooperation with immediate superior.

•            Participates in team meetings, huddles, and information cascades. Communicates with the team on best practices, lessons learned, process and product updates during team huddles/meetings.

•            Gathers data, analyses trend, generates and submits reports to immediate superior with recommendations.

•            Use effective communication tools like flow charts, process flows, diagrams etc. to effectively convey information.

•            Assist the team lead in the implementation of identified opportunities and resolution to challenges.

•            Provide sound recommendations to leaders and/or stakeholders by translating, enhancing, and consolidating information into forms that can be used for decision making.

•            Completes individual development plan and implements agreed training/development activities.

•            Support projects related to process improvement.

•            Serve as back-up for next level similar or related function for business continuity.

•            Assist in conducting functional training for peers.

•            Fulfil other reasonable duties as required.

•            Lead the revision of existing process documents.

•            Support in the creation of business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations. 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

•            2-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis or related roles, preferably in the HVAC industry or a similar manufacturing

•            Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, supply chain management, business, or related field.

•            Fluent in English and Spanish.

•            Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience performing detailed analyses.

•            Minimum of 2 years of experience with supplier outreach/communications.

•            Experience with SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Smartsheets. 

•            Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven.

•            Motivated problem solver.

•            Excellent communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.

•            Ability to manage multiple simultaneous requests and projects.

•            Ability to work in a fluid environment without closer supervision.

•            Competent within the business domain and have knowledge of business principles and business solutions.

•            Able to work in a team setting and assist stakeholders in articulating problems and opportunities, establishing viable testing plans and reaching agreement on a quality future state.

 

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

  • The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
  • Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.
  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
