Job Description Summary

Project Lead will oversee the end-to-end delivery of data centre construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering, combined with project management skills to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable infrastructure.

About the Job:

  • Project Management: Lead planning, scheduling of data centre construction projects from concept to commissioning. Including Manage Budgets, timelines and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Technical Oversight: Coordinate with design engineers, contractors and vendors to ensure technical accuracy and quality
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as primary liaison between internal teams, external contractors and regulatory bodies. Including provide regular project updates and risk assessments to senior leadership
  • Quality & safety compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environment regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Including conduct inspections and audits during construction phases
  • Commissioning & handover: Oversee system testing, commissioning, and final handover to operations teams, including prepare documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years in construction project management, with at least 3 years in data centre or critical infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, power distribution, UPS, generators, and cooling technologies.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD/Revit.
