As a Restaurant Junior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in supporting kitchen operations and ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation in our hotel restaurant. You’ll help lead the culinary team in crafting exceptional dishes that exceed guest expectations, while maintaining a timely and organized workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily kitchen operations with a focus on consistency and quality
- Assist in training and mentoring team members
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef
- Apply culinary education and cost control practices
- Demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and basic computer skills
- Previous hotel culinary experience preferred
- Availability to work AM shifts and flexibility to support the operation as needed
- Culinary education or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
