DC Lead Person - Receiving - Pierre DC, SD na None

The Distribution Center Lead person is responsible for the receiving of products into the warehouse. In the absence of the Distribution Center Manager/Supervisors, the Lead person is responsible for the overall daily activities in the Distribution Center.

1. Scan merchandise into inventory using scanning equipment.
2. Print price tags and price merchandise accordingly.
3. Break down merchandise into smaller quantities for shipping to retail locations.
4. Responsible for accurate allocation of quantities.
5. Cross check quantities to packing slip, making corrections as necessary.
6. Load merchandise onto proper pallet, shrink wrap when necessary.   
7. Receive merchandise into warehouse area.
8. General maintenance of building and equipment.
9. Practice safety in the workplace by using and ensuring others are using safe work habits and following all appropriate safety procedures.
10. Audit procedures and inventory as necessary to ensure accuracy.
11. Oversee the above functions in the absence of the Distribution Center Manager.
