Duties
Mentor lower level analysts and answer questions from the FEM Maintenance System Analysts in the day-to-day operations of the FEM system.,Utilize expert FEM data mining capabilities to perform Quality Assurance on data to identify any problems, questionable data points and areas of inefficiency in the entry and use of the FEM Software.,Determine whether a customers maintenance management requirement for FEM can be met with a change in existing business practices using the current configuration of FEM, or if an enterprise software modification would be required.,Conduct studies and analysis of new Maximo/FEM applications to improve the efficiency of required processes, procedures, reporting requirements, and management information or meet new requirements as outlined in the SAMP and/or AM PgMP.,As the Senior Analyst, they will provide SME support to the FEM Helpdesk to address both software use, business practice, and MMIP areas.,Serve Project Delivery Team member on enterprise asset and maintenance management teams providing FEM guidance, advice, and recommendations.,Serve as a lead team member on the National FEM training team which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring effective, timely, and successful training sessions.,Analyze, study, and recommend changes or corrections required for the resolution of FEM software problems coordinating with the FEM contractor.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience managing the utilization of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), such as FEM/MAXIMO, to track maintenance operations at multiple sites OR utilizing a CMMS at a large industrial facility to provide repair history and documentation of current and future maintenance operations for facilities and electrical/mechanical operating equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
