Position Summary
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager - the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, lounge, events, and banquets. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, leading and motivating service teams, maintaining high service standards, and assisting with operational planning and team development.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with managing daily operations across all F&B outlets.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional service and resolving guest concerns with professionalism.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of front-of-house F&B team members.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture based on our values.
- Ensure compliance with ProServe regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Monitor team scheduling and shift coverage and support labour efficiency.
- Participate in planning and execution of events, banquets, and seasonal promotions.
- Handle opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation, and reporting duties.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to departmental meetings and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Supervisory or management experience in Food & Beverage or Hospitality.
- Strong Banquet experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in all Food & Beverage outlets.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality is an asset.
- Eligible to work in Canada full-time.
- Able to lift, push or pull up to 40Ibs.
- Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks efficiently, especially during busy service periods.
- Positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- ProServe certification or willing to obtain.
- Previous serving or hospitality experience is an asset but not required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
