Description
Skyworks Solutions is seeking a highly motivated senior technician to join our Acoustic R&D team in Irvine, CA. This role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to support data integration, pipeline development, and optimization of model performance for advanced acoustic technologies.
Responsibilities
Clean, normalize, and transform raw data into structured formats suitable for analytics and machine learning applications.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement AI/ML algorithms addressing technical challenges in acoustic device development.
Work cross-functionally to ensure the delivery of reliable, well-structured data that supports research and development efforts.
Required Experience and Skills
Proficiency in programming, particularly in Python.
Experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting scientific data.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Comfortable performing routine tasks with a strong focus on data quality and consistency.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to group success.
Position requests a Associates degree and 6 years of experience.
Desired Experience and Skills
Experience of advanced machine learning techniques such as deep learning models, generative models, or reinforcement learning.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $37.36 - $65.38 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
