Position Summary
Coordinate across lending, loan operations, credit, and technology teams while serving as the primary support resource for Relationship Associates. Drive workflow efficiency, reinforce compliance standards, and provide training and mentorship to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-performing support across the market.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Duties include some or all of the following on a periodic basis:
- Drive operational strategy by aligning cross-functional teams in lending, credit, technology and operations to improve process efficiency, communication, and service delivery.
- Lead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives, identifying workflow bottlenecks and implementing solutions that reduce turnaround times and enhance productivity.
- Develop and implement performance enablement programs, including training frameworks, knowledge sharing resources, and onboarding tools for Lending Assistants and operational staff.
- Establish and govern policies, procedures, and documentation standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational transparency across the lending organization.
- Support system and technology initiatives, coordinate testing, data validation, and readiness efforts during platform conversions and integrations.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, translating high-level objectives into actionable project roadmaps and tracking outcomes against KPIs.
- Champion operational excellence, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for issue resolution, cross-team alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains various tracking logs to ensure exception items are received prior to expiration.
- Presents information both clearly and concisely and regularly confirms correct interpretation of information.
- Demonstrates a courteous, pleasant, self-motivated, and dependable behavior. Maintaining a professional environment in both appearance and conduct.
- Maintains the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records.
- Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established by Susser Bank.

- Performs additional duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Experience Required
- High School diploma or GED, some college preferred.
- 10 years of job-related experience in the banking industry.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Be of good character, work ethics and self-starter.
- Strong attention to details and accuracy, organization and analytical skills, good time management and excellent follow up skills. Responsive to requests and timely completion of tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications preferred (Teams, One-Drive, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service.
- Strong knowledge of loan operations, loan documentation and administrative assistant functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
