If you’re consistently raising the bar for your craft and for those around you, Crisp would love to talk to you about the Managing Cinematographer-Editor position.

This role isn’t for someone who is “pretty good” at a certain part of the production department, it’s for someone who can take any set of footage thrown their way and create a killer edit that any client would be proud to have. It’s for someone who can create something from nothing. It’s for someone who feels capturing great content with any camera is as second nature as charging your phone. With each piece you do, you’re giving back to the team around you ten-fold, sharing what you’ve learned and making those who see your work elevate themselves, leading them to new heights.

This is an opportunity to not only create incredible content but also build a team of incredible cinematographers and editors at Crisp and make an impact on the entire legal landscape. You’ll ensure that all content coming out of Crisp is to the highest standards and consistently move the needle across all types of video Crisp handles.

  • Review edit slating alongside the Production Operations team, providing insight into unassigned edits, who they could be assigned to, and shepherding your team to a completed piece.

  • Work alongside the Director of Production to ensure that all projects are pushing the envelope of legal video production.

  • Review all first edits coming from your team, ensuring consistent quality control from a technical and creative perspective.

  • Review client feedback with our Client Success Managers on the production process and own the execution of implementing client feedback.

  • Work with the our Operations team to audit the organization and processes for the Production team, ensuring consistency from project onboarding to the final edit for a client, adjusting and logging processes when necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in an equivalent production management role, preferably in a video marketing environment.

  • 5+ years of creative corporate or freelance experience.

  • A strong portfolio of past content in both cinematography and editing, you haven’t rested on your laurels.

  • Storytelling is at the forefront of every piece of content you’ve made.

  • You have worked with clients in the past, specializing in understanding client needs for video and providing them creative solutions.

  • You have past experience with larger teams of creatives, balancing creating your own content while sharing your knowledge to better those around you.

  • A strong understanding of project management and organization from a post-production perspective.

  • You are willing to give challenging feedback when necessary, all in the name of bettering the final product and client experience.

  • File management and organization is as important to you as the product you’re creating.

  • You are an expert in Adobe Creative Suite, notably Premiere and After Effects.
