Job Summary
The General Manager will be accountable for managing all aspects of operations, sales, service delivery, customer service as well as the overall financial performance of the self-perform service branch in the assigned territory. The General Manager is responsible for running and growing the business within the framework of the franchise and distributor agreements. Also, this leader will be responsible for: safety, hiring, employee training, business process to include inventory variances, building & vehicle maintenance. The General Manager reports to the Regional Vice President and generally supervises 8 or more employees.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for safe, effective, and efficient operations.
· Drive effective operations and make changes to improve performance to ensure that contractual obligations are completed, and customer satisfaction is achieved.?
· Drive?accountability for key metrics performance indicators that move the business forward.
· Drive profitable growth through increased sales, optimized operations, and effective management?of assigned assets (people, financial and material). ?
· Lead all aspects of operations and service delivery and manage the overall financial performance?of the branches across the assigned territory.??
· Develop and implement strategic operating plans that meet or exceed the growth and?profitability objectives.
· Analyze operational processes and provide recommendations for improvements.
· Provide monthly guidance on financial performance and support communications of that performance.
· Implements required?changes on pricing and gross margins.
· Coach Managers on appropriate levels of operating and overhead expenses incurred in operations. ?
· Responsible for hiring, firing, advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employees within the business unit.
· Build and support an environment that energizes team members to provide high quality, cost?efficient, customer-directed service and exceed performance targets.?
· Delegates responsibilities to the best qualified employees, enforces policies, procedures, standards, and training programs.
· Responsible for customer care and satisfaction.
- Key Performance Measurements:
· A score card that reflects performance in areas such as safety, growth to targets, EBITDA to Revenue, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
· Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information.
· Growing year over year Revenues and unit volumes.
· Growing ILD % to totals and growth of accessories across developing opportunities.
· Driving key business initiatives as the customer needs change.
· Other key performance indicators as assigned.

Requirements
· High School or GED Diploma required. Prefer an Associate Degree from an approved two-year college or university or very strong equivalent experience.
· Experience managing 10 or more service personnel and other support staff.
· Strong management and leadership skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
· Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, writing and presentation skills.
· Strong mechanical aptitude required, previous hands-on mechanical repair and/or troubleshooting experience preferred.
· Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, technology driven service environment.
· Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs and across remote offices.
· Extensive skills in Microsoft Office Products.
· Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
· Results-oriented and demonstrates the ability to work independently and in a team environment, occasionally lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams.
· Possess innovative leadership, communication, delivery, consultative, partnership, and team building skills.
· Willingness to travel up to 20% of time.
