Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber-security, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- Experience in content or business generation policy, anti-abuse operations and or abuse fighting at scale in the online space.
- Experience with the technology sector and key policy issues affecting the internet like advertising, free expression, and online safety.
- Experience using data and technology to solve business problems.
- Ability to exercise judgment even in a crisis.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. The Trust and Safety Consumer Monetization team's mission is to deliver a trusted ads ecosystem. We analyze billions of pages, sites, apps, accounts that display ads, and create scalable systems to stop motivated abusers from causing harm.
Responsibilities
- Manage policy launches to enable safe business growth for the Google Display Network. Implement policy principles into actionable enforcement guidelines.
- Collaborate with Trust and Safety teams, Product Managers, Engineering, and Sales to influence product decisions and prioritization and improve user experience for policy-related issues.
- Analyze sensitive content, identifying emerging trends, and leading impact analysis.
- Handle policy escalations from external and internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal, PR) with a fast turn-around time and deliver the best action plan.
- Work with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting topics or content.
